In the stillness of a small-town, two unsuspecting deputy sheriffs stumble upon a grisly scene of a drug deal gone awry. Lifeless bodies lay scattered, a chilling testimony to the deadly exchange, but amidst the horror, they find an unexpected fortune - a suitcase brimming with $1.5 million. Tempted by the allure of unthinkable wealth, they hatch a desperate plan to keep the money, concealing their find by setting the cash-laden car ablaze. However, fortune is fickle and their plan quickly spirals into chaos. They stumble upon a shocking revelation - one of the presumed-dead men is gasping for life, having overheard their sinister plot. The deputies are forced into a corner, suffocating the man to protect their secret. But the spiral continues as the DEA storms into town, revealing the suffocated man was one of their own, wired for surveillance. Their secret is not safe yet, as the local coroner stumbles upon the covert recording during his autopsy.
