Plot

In the shadowy folds of the 19th Century, a small town known as Darkness Falls harbors a chilling tale. Here resides Matilda Dixon, a kindly woman who has turned the eerie ritual of exchanging children's lost teeth for coins into an act of gentleness. However, fate deals her a cruel hand; a devastating house fire leaves her sensitive to light, compelling her to shield her charred face behind a cold china mask. Tragedy strikes again when two children mysteriously vanish, and the fearful town, quick to place blame, points its accusatory fingers at Matilda. Despite her pleas of innocence, they condemn her as a witch, subjecting her to a fiery death. With her last breath, Matilda curses the townsfolk and their kin, vowing to return as the Tooth Fairy whenever a child sheds their final tooth. She warns that any child who dares to gaze upon her will meet a fatal end. When the missing children reappear unharmed, the remorseful citizens bury the tale in a grave of silence, hoping to erase their grave mistake. Fast forward to twelve years ago, a young boy named Kyle unintentionally glimpses the Tooth Fairy, leading to his mother's untimely demise. Wrongly accused of the murder and branded as deranged, Kyle is exiled to an institution, leaving behind his only ally, his girlfriend Caitlin. In the present, Caitlin reaches out to Kyle, her voice tinged with desperation. Her younger brother Michael is haunted by the same nightmares that once tormented Kyle, fearfully anticipating the darkness each night brings. Reluctantly, Kyle returns to Darkness Falls, ready to confront his past and the haunting specter in the porcelain mask, the infamous Tooth Fairy. The tale weaves a path of suspense and fear, where the past bleeds into the present, and the line between folklore and reality blurs menacingly.
