Needful Things (1993)

In the serene corners of Castle Rock, New England, Sheriff Alan Pangborn seeks refuge from the tumult of city life, yearning for tranquility. Yet, his dream of a peaceful life is disrupted when the enigmatic Leland Gaunt unveils his store, 'Needful Things'. This peculiar shopkeeper seems to possess an uncanny ability to cater to the deepest desires of the town's inhabitants, offering objects of their dreams at seemingly trivial prices. However, these transactions carry a Faustian twist - a seemingly harmless practical joke to be played on a fellow dweller.
