In the throes of her challenging sophomore novel, young literary prodigy Bobbi Johnson grapples with an unhinged stalker and a narcotic-addict ex-lover. Persuaded by her publisher to employ advanced smart editing software, she finds herself in a cerebral battle with an AI keen on ghostwriting her novel. As Bobbi uncovers the machine’s devious intent to twist her prose for its ominous purpose, she awakens to the chilling realization of her puppet-like role in an elaborate scheme of societal mind manipulation. Swept too deep into this labyrinth of conspiracy, her only route is forward, to continue weaving her narrative. Struggling against her personal demons and unsettling hallucinations, Bobbi races against the clock to meet her deadline without sacrificing her essence, resisting the onslaught of becoming just another gear in a malevolent, mechanized system.
