Young Adult (2011)

Mavis, a divorced, alcoholic writer of fiction for teens, returns to her hometown because she is convinced she should be with her high school sweetheart, Buddy, who is married with a new baby. While there, she strikes up an odd friendship with a former classmate, Matt, who is disabled after being beaten up in high school. Mavis's attempts to get Buddy back and recreate her high school glory days lead her to make increasingly out-of-control decisions.
