Plot
The legend of master sleuth Sherlock Holmes and his sidekick Dr. John Holmes is given new life in this wry re-imagining. This Holmes is a recovering addict living in modern day New York City, and his Watson is his sober companion — Joan Watson. What starts as a professional relationship that borders on the acrimonious slowly blossoms into something more, and the capable Joan serves as a sharp and necessary counterpart to the brilliant but easily distracted Sherlock. But while his addiction is behind him, Holmes will grapple with the family, friends, and nemeses that he left behind when he ditched London.
