Mort Rainey loves the little house with the secret window in his office, until a divorce turns his world upside down and brings on writer's block. This is just the beginning of Mort's troubles. A stranger shows up to accuse Mort of plagiarism. Mort is soon drawn into a deadly web that is more suspenseful than any tale he has ever written.
