A writer has made a career of investigating paranormal mysteries. His work has left him jaded and unable to prove the existence of the entities he seeks. When the writer is asked to spend the night in a hotel room, his belief in spectral forces is renewed. He will either become the first person to endure a night in room 1408, or he will suffer terrible consequences for trying.
