Plot

When Richard McMurray, a once successful novelist, finds his creative well dry and his second novel unfinished, life takes an unexpected turn. His domestic tranquility shatters as his wife locks him out of their home, pushing him into an unforeseen journey. A speaking engagement at a local college becomes his lifeline as he accepts an invitation from two alluring co-eds to temporarily crash on their couch. In the maze of academia and youthful energy, Richard finds himself entangled in more than just a legal battle with his estranged wife and pressures from his demanding editor and publisher. The couch, meant for a day or two of respite, morphs into a sanctuary of creativity and tension. The co-eds, drawn to his literary prowess, seek his guidance. Richard, in turn, finds in them an unexpected wellspring of inspiration, his muses incarnate. As the days turn into a blurred timeline, the trio navigates a labyrinth of shared living, the quest for literary success, and a charged atmosphere of palpable sexual tension. Richard's unfinished novel seems to be on the verge of completion, but it's their intertwined lives that are yet to unravel completely. Crashing is a captivating exploration of the precarious balance between artistic pursuit, personal turmoil, and the potent allure of unexpected relationships.
