Plot

In the chilling aftermath of a devastating car crash, Anna (Ricci) finds herself awakening in the eerie ambiance of a funeral home, under the watchful gaze of the enigmatic funeral director, Eliot Deacon (Neeson). Amidst the echoes of her own funeral preparations, Anna grapples with fear, disbelief, and the unsettling sense of her own vitality. Despite Deacon's soothing assurances of her transition to the great beyond, she remains unconvinced of her demise. Deacon, with an uncanny ability to commune with the departed, positions himself as her sole guide in this spectral limbo. Encased within the funeral home's solemn walls, Anna is left with no choice but to navigate this uncertain terrain under Eliot's guidance, reluctantly reconciling with her purported death. Outside this spectral bubble, her bereaved boyfriend Paul (Long) wrestles with a gnawing doubt about the cryptic Deacon, suspecting a reality far removed from what it appears to be. The narrative weaves an intricate web of suspense, as Anna and Paul find themselves caught in a chilling dance with the mysterious and the macabre.
