In the underbelly of crime, Tommy, a seasoned mob courier with a wit as sharp as a stiletto, is entrusted with a grisly task by his boss: deliver the heads of eight contracted hits. Yet, in the chaotic ballet of the airport, a bag mix-up occurs. Instead of the macabre cargo, Tommy ends up with the luggage of Charlie, an unsuspecting college student embarking on a Mexican vacation with his girlfriend, Laurie, and her parents. As Charlie grapples with the shocking discovery of the eight heads, he strives to shield the truth from Laurie and her parents, including her mother, a recovering alcoholic whose claims are often dismissed as delusions. In a frantic effort to correct the mix-up, Charlie makes contact with Tommy. Meanwhile, Tommy, in his relentless pursuit to retrieve his bag, infiltrates Charlie's tranquil campus in Maryland, leaving Charlie's friends shaken. The situation spirals further out of control when two of the severed heads inadvertently end up in Laurie's father's bag, leading to his arrest. Now, Charlie must navigate the treacherous waters of mob politics and law enforcement to rescue Laurie's father, all the while placating Tommy.
