With their draft deployment to Vietnam approaching, two brothers travel with their girlfriends on a road trip. After a car wreck, the four end up captives of the Hewitts. The Hewitts are a family of cannibals, and young Thomas Hewitt is the chainsaw-wielding killer known as Leatherface. The young ones face a night of sheer depravity in the murderous family's home.
