Plot

In the complex web of the digital world, Claire, a 50-year-old divorced educator, immerses herself in a compelling charade. She meticulously crafts a counterfeit Facebook persona of an enchanting 24-year-old woman, borrowing the image of a striking young brunette from the endless sea of the internet. As she breathes life into this entirely fictional character, one can't help but wonder - to what end? Initially, her deceptive endeavor is aimed at prying into the life of Ludo, her intermittent lover. However, Ludo's digital fortress only opens for those within his personal circle. In a strategic shift, Claire extends the virtual olive branch to Alex, Ludo's best friend, who unknowingly invites the illusion into his life. As the digital ink of their messages flows back and forth, a synthetic friendship blossoms into a faux love affair. Claire finds herself helplessly entangled in her own web, her heart now beating for Alex who, in turn, is smitten with the fabricated 24-year-old. The prospect of meeting the enigmatic beauty sends ripples through their online romance. To maintain her ruse, Claire spins tales of an engrossing career, frequent business trips, and a possessive ex-lover. With each passing day, their affection deepens, turning the situation into an unbearable paradox. Claire stands at the precipice of an impossible love, torn between the painful admission of her deceit and the fear of losing the connection it has begotten. As reality and fabrication blur, the question remains - how long can Claire maintain the illusion without shattering the world she's created?
