Embracing a new chapter of their lives, newlyweds Benjamin and Jane Shaw journey to the fascinating city of Tokyo, Japan. The opportunity that awaits them is laced with promise and prosperity as Benjamin, a skilled professional photographer, has secured a lucrative job in the heart of this vibrant metropolis. For Benjamin, this isn't just a job, but a nostalgic homecoming, as he previously resided in Japan and is well-versed with its language and culture. Their initial excitement, however, is overshadowed by a chilling incident on a shadowy forest road. Jane, while driving, hits a young woman who eerily appears in the middle of the road. A veil of unease descends upon them as they settle into their new life in Tokyo. Soon, Benjamin's professional life takes a strange turn. His once pristine fashion photographs become tainted with peculiar white blurs, marring his career's promising trajectory. As the mystery unfolds, Jane makes a startling connection. The spectral blurs in the photographs bear an uncanny resemblance to the young woman from the accident. She becomes convinced that these anomalies are the ethereal imprints of the dead girl, potentially seeking revenge from beyond the grave. As Jane delves deeper into the mystery, she uncovers a buried secret from Benjamin's past life in Japan, a secret closely tied to the phantom girl.
