In the heart of Park Avenue, the young and gifted surgeon, Jim Stanton, shines as the newest beacon of a long family legacy in medicine. Convinced by his father of the nobility of their profession, Jim devotes himself to his thriving practice. However, when a scandal born from misconstrued facts engulfs him, the medical world, including his father and his high-society fiancée, Barbara Reed, turn their backs on him.
