Pearl Harbor (2001)

Rafe McCawley and Danny Walker are best friends who grew up together. They join the Air Force and are stationed at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, in 1941. McCawley is passed for flight duty despite his dyslexia by a nurse, Evelyn Johnson, with who he falls deeply in love. The two are a happy couple, but their relationship is ended when McCawley is shot down and believed killed. However, McCawley survives and returns to Pearl Harbor. As in real life, the naval base is suddenly attacked, and McCawley and Walker must survive the attack and participate in the counter offensive against the Japanese.
