The Fugitive (1993)

Dr. Richard Kimble comes home to find a one-armed man killing his wife. Kimble tries and fails to apprehend the murderer, but is then arrested and convicted of the murder himself. When the train transporting him to jail crashes, Kimble escapes and begins his efforts to find the man who killed his wife, unraveling the conspiracy behind the murder and finding out why he and his wife were targeted in the first place. Kimble is aggressively pursued by U.S. Marshal Samuel Gerard, who is trying to apprehend Kimble and return him to jail.
