Plot

In the thrilling cinematic journey that is 'The Fourth Angel', Jack Elgin, the diligent European editor of the Economist magazine, embarks on an ill-fated working vacation to India. The flight, a venture of AM Airlines, is brutally hijacked by the enigmatic Serbian terrorist group, the August 15th Movement, who demand a colossal $50 million ransom. The earth-shattering aftermath leaves fifteen dead, including Jack's wife and daughters, with Jack and his young son Andrew barely escaping the jaws of death. When Jack discovers the two surviving hijackers have been quietly released, he is consumed by an insatiable thirst for justice, his only clue being a passenger mysteriously absent from the list of casualties. He is incited by CIA Agent Henry Davidson, based at the US Embassy in London, to utilize his journalistic prowess and extensive contacts to hunt down the culprits and those who allowed them to walk free. As Jack delves deeper into the world of terrorism, FBI Agent Jules Bernard and Scotland Yard's anti-terrorist group begin their own investigation. With a series of chilling murders in London linked to the terrorist group, Bernard is convinced that unearthing the murderer will help crack the case. Jack's path of vengeance crosses with the official investigation, their parallel pursuits slowly merging into a single, alarming truth. Navigating a world of government apathy and hidden identities, Jack, now a single father, embarks on a solitary quest for truth, guided by a murdered Serbian newspaper editor and a Sûreté contact, Duguay. As he becomes a one-man justice machine, Jack's search for the truth unveils a sinister plot that reaches far beyond the initial tragedy. In 'The Fourth Angel', the dynamics of terrorism, investigation, and revenge intertwine, culminating in a suspenseful climax that reveals the shocking reasons behind the hijacking. This enthralling narrative will leave you on the edge of your seat, questioning where the line is drawn between justice and vengeance.
