Plot
Forrest Gump is a kind-hearted young boy who suffers from a low IQ and intellectual difficulties. The film highlights Forrest's charmed life and golden heart, watching him grow older, become a football star, a military hero, and an American business mogul. It also highlights his various important relationships, including with his dedicated mother and fellow soldiers. Forrest is also shown falling in love with the troubled Jenny, who flits in and out of the film. Jenny is haunted by her traumatic past, and Forrest tries to save his love as best he can.
