Detectives Will Dormer and Hap Eckhart are part of the elite LA Robbery and Homicide department. Each man is facing struggles within the unit that threaten both their personal and professional lives. When the gory murder of an Nightmute, Alaska, teen occurs, the detectives are asked to assist in the investigation. Once in Nightmute, the detectives realize the sun never sets, which begins to play tricks on their mind. Determined to fight the challenges in Nightmute, each detective deals with their own issues while trying to find a killer.
