In the heart of the 1830s, an audacious group of men led by the daring Jim Deakins embark on a perilous journey up the tumultuous waters of the Missouri River. Their mission is a bold one: to trade with the Blackfeet Indians, a tribe known for their amicability and keen interest in trade, for a coveted cache of fur pelts. Among the adventurers, a captivating Blackfoot woman named Teal Eye stirs the interests of not only Deakins but also his close friend, Boone Caudill, adding a layer of complexity to their dangerous quest. The journey, however, is far from a straightforward sail. The Missouri River, a beast of nature, promises threats at every bend.
