Windtalkers (2002)

During World War II, the U.S. Military needed an encoded communications system so secure that even the incredibly effective Japanese codebreakers could not crack it. The Army developed a system based on the Navaho language that was invulnerable. However, the code depended on Navaho service members to handle the communication with their native tongue. Protecting the two Navaho “Windtalkers” from capture became a matter of supreme priority. That mission was assigned to U.S. Marine Joe Enders. The tough Marine clashed with the Navaho soldiers at first, but the brutal campaign to take Saipan makes brothers of men from different cultures.

Windtalkers is an action movie featuring Nicolas Cage and directed by John Woo.
