News of the World (2020)

Captain Jefferson Kyle Kidd fought for the Union, but he's spent the five years since wandering through the uneducated and rural counties of the United States reading the news to the locals. In Texas, he comes across a 10-year old girl who has spent the majority of her life raised by the local Kiowa tribe. He agrees to transport the girl to her biological aunt and uncle. It won't be an easy journey. Both the terrain and the landscape are rough and rugged, and there are human dangers around as well. These two lonely people with no families begin to discover that they can be family to one another.

News of the World is an adventure movie featuring Tom Hanks and directed by Paul Greengrass.
