Pocahontas's father is ready for her to settle down, but she still dreams of the adventure waiting just around the river bend. When English ships sail towards her village, Pocahontas is ready. She falls in love with one of the visitors and must decide if she's willing to risk everything she's ever known to follow her heart. Meanwhile, the object of her love, Captain John Smith, is waging his own war for control over his expedition as the greedy Governor Ratcliffe pushes the Englishmen to pillage the new territory for hidden gold.
