The Big Picture (2010)

Paul Exben is the epitome of success—a top-ranking partner in one of Paris's most elite law firms, basking in a generous salary, a sprawling house, a glamorous wife, and two picture-perfect sons. His life seems plucked straight out of a luxury catalog. However, when he discovers Sarah, his wife, entwined in an affair with Greg Kremer, a local photographer, his world shatters. In a moment of blinding rage, Paul commits an irreversible mistake, finding himself standing over the lifeless body of his wife's lover. Knowing that the façade of his perfect life has been shattered forever, Paul makes a daring choice. He usurps the deceased man's identity and escapes to a remote corner of the former Yugoslavia, nestled along the breathtaking Adriatic coast. By immersing himself in this new life, Paul gets another chance to truly be himself and finally perceive the grand scheme—the big picture—in a way he never had before.
