Aliens is a classic film that every science fiction buff should see. The 1979 saga shows off impressive special effects when the genre was just taking off. As such, it's well worth watchin just for the impact of the visual effects alone. Where the movie takes it to the next level is in the power of its storytelling. This is a compelling and well cone film with a very likeable heroine. Ripley knows something is amiss after being awakened from decades in cold sleep. She has to warn her superiors and the world about the dangers they face right now.
