Oldboy (2003)

Oh Dae-su is kept captive for reasons he does not understand for 15 years. He does not know who has captured him, why he is held or why he is later released, but he spends the years planning his revenge. On his sudden release, Dae-su sets out to find out why he was imprisoned, which is complicated after he falls in love with sushi chef Mi-Do. Dae-su's savage quest for revenge is getting him closer to the truth, but he may regret the knowledge he finds.
