The Best of Me (2014)

Dawson and Amanda fell in love when they were teenagers despite coming from two very different backgrounds. Circumstances led them apart, but they end up reuniting 20 years later to attend the funeral of a mutual friend. Amanda has settled down with a husband, while Dawson seems more aimless and adrift. But the reunion will cause them both to rethink what they thought they knew about their own lives. Love blooms again, but their pasts bring with them a new set of obstacles. And just as they start to understand their potential together, they find themselves beset by a new tragedy.
