Plot

In the gritty heart of Shinjuku, Tokyo, tough-as-nails biker Ako, played by pop sensation Akiko Wada, stumbles upon a brewing storm. She encounters Mei (Meiko Kaji) and her fearless girl gang, the Alleycats - also known as Stray Cats, teetering on the verge of a knife fight with a rival girl gang. The escalating tension reaches a fever pitch when the rival gang enlists their boyfriends' help, compelling Ako to leap into the fray. Her intervention tilts the balance, making her a beacon of leadership for Mei's gang. Simultaneously, the plot thickens with Michio (Koji Wada), Mei's boyfriend, who yearns to prove his worth to the Seiyu Group, a formidable right-wing nationalist faction. His desperate bid for acceptance leads him to coax his old friend, Kelly (Ken Sanders), into throwing a boxing match, aiming to secure a lucrative win for the Seiyu Group. But the tables are turned when the boxer, buoyed by Ako and Mei's encouragement, claims victory, unleashing the Seiyu Group's wrath on Michio. In the face of danger, Mei and the valiant Alleycats swoop in to rescue Michio, inadvertently marking themselves as targets for the Seiyu Group's vengeance. As the girls grapple with their newfound foes, tragedy strikes, claiming Mei's life. This loss prompts Ako's departure from Shinjuku, leaving behind a roaring echo of her bike, a poignant symbol of defiance against the odds.
