Green Acres (1965)

This classic sitcom television series observes the life of a lawyer in New York as he transitions from the big city to become a farm owner. The lawyer Oliver must adjust to this unfamiliar way of life he has longed for, taking his unwilling wife with him. Through the lifestyle changes the couple experiences, their own disagreements, as well as the lives of others around them, are detailed in through Oliver’s seemingly nonsensical move.
