Squeeze (1997)

In the gritty heart of Boston, three inseparable friends - Ty, Hector, and Bao - navigate the harsh realities of life as the "PG-13 crew." These 14-year-old boys, honest at heart but lacking in skills, have opted out of school. Life takes a grim turn when a group of intimidating older thugs, led by the ruthless Marcus and Tommy, begin to terrorize them. When the PG-13 crew retaliates and robs their oppressors, they find themselves facing a deadly threat. In their desperate search for protection, they turn to Derick, a notorious drug dealer, who offers them a dangerous deal - safety in exchange for selling drugs. As they grapple with this perilous proposition, Ty finds an unexpected opportunity. He is invited to work at a local community center by its serene leader, J.J. Engulfed by a world of violence, drugs, and limited opportunities, the PG-13 crew finds themselves in a tight squeeze. They must navigate through these challenges to find a way out, a test that will either make or break them. Will they succumb to their circumstances, or will they rise above them? The choice lies in their hands, and the clock is ticking.
