Plot

Trading the monotonous grind of city life for a weekend of unbridled revelry, seven friends embark on a journey to the sun-drenched Gulf Coast of Texas, their hearts brimming with the promise of laughter, camaraderie, and abandon. However, their plans are thwarted by the tempestuous whims of nature, leaving them stranded amidst the glimmering rhinestone heart of the Bible Belt – the quaint town of Middle Spring. Drawn in by the intoxicating aroma of barbecue and a tent revival that stirs the soul, they find themselves welcomed into the bosom of this fervent community. The town, nestled in the midst of a passionate congregation stirred by the fire and brimstone rhetoric of their charismatic preacher, Isaac Renneker, offers them more than just shelter from the storm. Unbeknownst to the seven friends, Middle Spring harbors a chilling secret that blurs the lines between faith and feasting. As the clock's relentless march continues, they begin to realize the unsettling truth - Middle Spring's interpretation of 'the body and the blood' is far from metaphorical. Their weekend of hedonism gradually transforms into a fight for survival, where the menu's delicacies bear an uncanny resemblance to home. Caught in this whirlwind of righteousness and horror, the friends must stick together, battling not just against time, but the town's sinister agenda. Their journey becomes a testament to friendship, fear, and the haunting question - will they end up at the altar or on the plate?
