Ninja (2009)

In the heart of Japan, Casey, a westerner with a deep fascination for the ancient art of Ninjitsu, immerses himself in the mystic world of the ninja. In his mentor's possession is the mythical Yoroi Bitsu, an armored chest concealing the legendary weapons of the last Koga Ninja, a treasure reserved for the truly worthy. Masazuka, a fellow student, eyes this prize with unwarranted entitlement. Driven by envy and an unquenched hunger for power, he confronts Casey, marking himself with an unforgettable scar in a battle he instigated. Banished for his transgressions, Masazuka morphs into a deadly assassin, slithering in the shadows of a sinister criminal organization known as The Ring. When Masazuka returns, his eyes aflame with desire for the Yoroi Bitsu, their wise Master refuses him. Instead, he entrusts the armor to Casey and his daughter, Namiko, urging them to transport it to the relative safety of America. But the shadows of Masazuka's vengeance stretch far. Following the tragic death of their Master, Masazuka relentlessly pursues them across the globe. When Casey is wrongly apprehended for crimes committed by his nemesis, Masazuka seizes his chance, abducting Namiko and demanding the return of the Yoroi Bitsu. Undeterred, Casey challenges him to a final showdown. If Masazuka wants the armor, he'll have to claim it through the clash of steel and the test of their Ninjitsu mastery.
