Lady Chatterley's Lover (2015)

In the year 1913, young and vibrant Connie Reid becomes the wife of affluent coal mine proprietor, Sir Clifford Chatterley. However, the Great War leaves Clifford crippled and bound to a wheelchair, transforming their relationship fundamentally. As Clifford enlists the assistance of Mrs Bolton, a nurse to bathe and care for him, Connie finds herself feeling more distant, pushed away from the coal mine affairs that were once a part of her life. Unable to father an heir due to his impotence, Clifford's incapacity to satisfy Connie's growing physical desires drives her into the arms of the ruggedly handsome Oliver Mellors. Mellors, a former miner now serving as Clifford's gamekeeper, embodies the fervor and passion Connie yearns for. Caught in the throes of a passionate affair within the rustic confines of Mellors' cottage, their secret love is betrayed when Mrs Bolton discovers their clandestine trysts. Now bearing Mellors' child, Connie is forced to make a daunting choice. Will she opt for a life of decadent comfort but devoid of emotional fulfillment with her husband?
