Plot

In the throbbing heart of a highway, Hatch Harrison finds his life torn asunder in a tragic car accident. Alongside his wife Lindsey and daughter Regina, their car collides with a truck, plunging them into the icy grip of a river. Hatch’s heart ceases to beat for over two hours, his life seemingly extinguished, only to be resurrected by the brilliant, yet enigmatic Dr. Jonas Nyebern. Emerging from the jaws of death, Hatch finds his world altered. He's plagued by chilling premonitions and a sinister psychic connection to a deranged serial killer known as Vassago. This malevolent spirit, reborn like Hatch, is a twisted soul who murdered his family before taking his own life, only to be revived to continue his ghastly hobby: killing innocent young women and teenagers. Haunted by the eerily vivid perspective of Vassago, Hatch realizes he's caught in a macabre synchrony with the psychopath. As the boundary between his mind and the killer's blurs, Hatch foresees a horrifying vision: Vassago's malevolent sights are set on his daughter, Regina. This revelation sends Hatch spiraling into a desperate race against time to stop the murderer, even as those closest to him — Lindsey, Regina, and the skeptical detective overseeing the investigation — question his sanity. Hideaway is a chilling exploration of life and death, a dance on the precipice of sanity, where Hatch Harrison must confront a darkness that threatens to consume everything he holds dear. A gripping tale of survival and sacrifice, it'll leave viewers on the edge of their seats, questioning the fragility of life and the shadowy depths of the human psyche.
