The Office (2005)

Michael Scott is the type of middle manager who defines his life in terms of his job. Unfortunately, he's just the manager at a middle-of-the-road paper company in the sleepy town of Scranton, Pennsylvania. But despite Scott's bullying attempts to make the office staff act like a family, there is a sense of camaraderie at the heart of the office environment. While everyone seems to be indifferent to their jobs, it offers a window into their larger lives — and those relationships in the office develop into friendships and romantic relationships that are going to last a lifetime.
