The American (2010)

Jack is one of the best assassins working today, but a less-than-perfect job leaves him shaken and convinced to get out of the game. His latest mission in Italy is intended to be his last, and he finds himself in love with the laid-back atmosphere of the small town where he's sent to await his orders. As Jack lingers, he learns to meet the locals, but that could jeopardize his job here. He needs to stay low until the time arrives, but a developing relationship and a potential romantic relationship could transform the contract into something that could shake Jack's sense of professionalism.
