Plot

In the heart of the U.S., bio-technologist Govind K. Somaiyya unveils a tale, a story of religious conflict in India that predates even Jesus and Allah. This ancient discord, steeped in the rivalry between the followers of Bhagwan Shri Shiv and Bhagwan Shri Vishnu, unfolds in an era where the latter's devotees were ruthlessly executed. Now, in the post-9/11 world, with President George W. Bush's substantial investment in biological research, Govind finds himself in the middle of a potential catastrophe. The catalyst of this disaster is a vial, a tiny container bearing a bio-weapon of unparalleled destruction. When this deadly vial is inadvertently shipped to Tamil Nadu, India, the story transforms into a race against time. Govind, recognizing the untold devastation this bio-weapon could wreak, becomes a reluctant hero, plunging headfirst into a mission to retrieve it before it falls into the wrong hands. His journey is fraught with peril, as he confronts a multitude of threats. A ruthless CIA Agent, Chris Fletcher, a merciless assassin named Jasmine, and RAW Officer Pranab Kundu all stand in his path. Even a martial-arts artist from Tokyo joins the fray, adding another layer of danger to his noble quest. As Govind fights against the odds, the plot of Dasavatharam spirals into a thrilling chase, highlighting the duality of faith and the dire consequences of unchecked power. Through it all, Govind must navigate the shadows of conflict, battling for control of a weapon that could either protect or devastate the world.
