The Stranger (2020)

The Stranger is an eight-part miniseries crime drama that begins when a stranger enters a seemingly peaceful and happy community. It takes place near Manchester in England and the stranger tells several townspeople devastating secrets about their loved ones and completely disrupts their lives. The town begins to experience mysterious disappearances and crimes including murder. The police begin looking for the stranger, a woman in her 20s who always wears a baseball cap, but she is elusive and the hunt often ends in disaster. Some townspeople including teenagers try to keep their secrets from the police during the course of the investigations.

The Stranger is a crime show featuring Richard Armitage and created by Harlan Coben.
