The Night Manager (2016)

Jonathan Pine's job as the night manager of a Cairo hotel doesn't make him particularly well-suited for espionage, but he finds himself trapped in a game of deception when his past catch up to him. When Jonathan's lover was killed — presumably by an international arms dealer known as Richard Roper — Jonathan abandoned his old identity and went into hiding out of fear for his safety. His life of seclusion is shattered when Roper returns to visit the hotel, and Jonathan is enlisted by British Intelligence to get close to Roper and spy on his activities. He'll descend right into the lion's mouth for freedom.
