Plot
Magic has been proven to be real and exists alongside the other known sciences, but the discovery came at a cost. A third world war decimated the world population and left the globe controlled largely by four major superpowers. Japan is one of these superpowers, and the new order is largely ruled by ten different clans. Japan is also home to nine different magical schools, and Miyuki is a first year student who shows a lot of promise. But while her brother Tatsuya struggles with the curriculum and with mastering magic, his unique style of sorcery could change how magic is viewed.
