Humanity is barely holding on in the far future. Giant beasts have forced mankind to the flying fort city known as the Plantation, but the people in charge know that they can't continue to just run from the threat into perpetuity. A new generation of children that has never known a life outside of the clouds is trained to be pilots of deadly robots. While their mission may be to destroy the monsters ravaging the world, these hormonal young teenagers also find themselves navigating friendships, first crushes, and all the awkward little social faux pas that come with growing up.
