Cardcaptor Sakura (1998)

Sakura Kinomot is an ordinary 10-year old living in the suburbs of Tokyo until she accidentally discovers a set of cards known as Clow Cards. These magical cards each possess their own unique powers, but they're now loose in the world and creating chaos throughout her hometown and the world. Her best friend Tomoyo is there to help, and she also has the assistance of the knowledgeable Kerebos — a spirit who has been tasked with guarding the cards. But it turns out that she's not alone, and she'll need to be diligent if she doesn't want a rival scooping out the cards from underneath her.
