Angel Beats! (2010)

Yuzuru Otonashi finds himself in a high school like no other — one located in the afterlife and reserved for those who need to overcome challenges before moving on to their next reincarnation. But Yuzuru's growth is complicated by the fact that he's a copmlete amnesiac. He'll eventually join a group called the SSS which exists to fight against a God that they believe to be unfair. That puts them in direct contrast to Angel — the student council president with a direct line to God and a wealth of supernatural powers. But Otonashi regularly grapples with whether or not he's doing the right thing.
