Once upon a time, a flux in reality gave birth to beings named "The Lost Ones" from an alternate realm known as "Japan." Gifted with a potent supernatural force, the "Pure Concept," these wanderers crafted an advanced civilization, imprinting their influence so deeply that the world adopted Japanese as its universal language. However, this power spiraled out of control, spawning cataclysmic disasters that the world would come to know as the Sword of Salt, the Pandemonium, the Mechanical Society, and the Starhusk. These "Human Errors," as they were ominously christened, continue to scar the fabric of the world even after thousands of years. In the wake of this chaos, The Lost Ones, appearing sporadically, are perceived as forbidding harbingers of doom. Menou, a young and resolute Executioner, is tasked with the grim duty of eliminating these wanderers, showing them no mercy. This was her world until she crosses paths with Akari Tokito, a Lost One, who defies the very concept of mortality with her Pure Concept of Time—reversing her death every time Menou tries to end her existence. Frustrated by her inability to kill Akari, Menou is compelled to search for a solution, a way to defeat Akari's immortality. To her surprise, Akari willingly accompanies her on this perilous quest. This unlikely alliance sets the stage for a journey that will forever alter Menou's perception of her world and her place within it. As the tale of "The Executioner and Her Way of Life" unfolds, it explores the enigma of The Lost Ones, the deadly charm of the Pure Concept, and the relentless pursuit of an Executioner seeking answers.
