Yaya & Angelina: The Spoiled Brat Movie (2009)

In the heart of this comedic caper, we meet Angelina (Ogie Alcasid), a precocious, highly gifted 7-year-old girl, who is as much a terror as she is a prodigy. Her unruly antics result in a fire that lands her first yaya (nanny) in the hospital, prompting her concerned parents (Aiko Melendez and Jomari Yllana) to launch a search for a suitable successor. Out of a sea of hopefuls, they choose Rosalinda "Cha-Cha" Lucero (Michael V.), a woman of unparalleled patience and pure heart. Soon, a tumultuous love-hate relationship blossoms between the mischievous Angelina and her ever-persistent Yaya. Despite becoming the target of Angelina's temper tantrums and relentless pranks, Yaya remains steadfast in her mission to tame the spirited young girl. However, one incident proves to be the last straw, pushing Yaya to pack her bags and leave, leaving Angelina alone and deeply distressed over the sudden departure of her unexpected confidante. In an unforeseen turn of events, Angelina stumbles upon a sinister plot by a merciless terrorist (Iza Calzado) to assassinate The Duchess of Wellington, who is due to visit her school. The terrorist, discovering her knowledge, abducts Angelina, thrusting her into a world of danger. Upon hearing about her cherished ward's peril, Yaya leaps into action, embarking on a daring quest to rescue Angelina. Reunited under the direst of circumstances, they must pool their wits and bravery to thwart the impending assassination, save the foreign dignitary, and in the process, perhaps mend their bond. The stage is set for a riotous adventure that will test their friendship and courage, in a world where not everything is as innocent as it seems.
