Plot

As the echoes of World War II begin to fade, a sinister shadow still lurks in the heart of Shanghai. A clutch of unyielding German Nazis, despite the impending surrender of the Japanese after Nagasaki, are guarding a cataclysmic invention, a cosmic ray generator. This diabolical device holds the potential to wreak havoc at a scale a thousand times more lethal than the atomic bomb. Col. Von Meyer, the keyholder of this deadly secret, prepares to pass it on to Col. Noyoma of Japan, who is eager to avenge recent losses. However, an unexpected twist surfaces with the arrival of Field Marshal Von Runzel, bearing orders that the secret weapon must not fall into Japanese hands. Instead, it is to be preserved for an underground Nazi faction planning to ignite a third world war and seize global domination. In an attempt to distract the Japanese officers, Col. Von Meyer orchestrates an "evening entertainment" at the German Officers' Club. This twisted soiree is to be convened by Thaler, the female German Officer, who is tasked with recruiting a group of women under dubious charges from Shanghai University. These unfortunate women, hailing from the United States, England, Australia, Russia, and Mexico, along with a willing French entertainer, Yvette, are forced into servicing the Japanese officers. As the night unfolds, a tragic event occurs when a mother, willing to shield her daughter from violation, commits an unthinkable act. The plot thickens as two more women, Chinese and Japanese, enter the scene, and a web of conspiracy and suspicion ensnares the group. As the tensions rise, allegiances are tested, spies are revealed, and a dangerous game of survival begins. Amidst the chaos, the future of humanity hangs in the balance, hinging on a deadly weapon hidden in a wine cellar. In the thrilling climax, secret plots are uncovered, and a deadly melee ensues between the Germans, Japanese, and the American and Chinese spies. In the face of this mayhem, a pivotal confrontation shapes the fate of the world, resulting in a breath-taking, heroic showdown. "Women in the Night" is a riveting tale of courage, betrayal, and the struggle for survival in the shadow of war, where every heartbeat could be the last.
