Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)

In the desperate bid to end World War II before any more blood is shed, Doctor Erskine is researching a new formula that could create an American super soldier. He picks the scrawny but earnest and virtuous Steve Rogers, but the formula and Erskine are lost in an attempt at sabotage by the Nazis. Fortunately, the formula works, and Steve becomes American hero Captain America. But Steve soon grows tired of being used as news propaganda rather than being deployed into the front lines. He'll soon find himself in the midst of battle and forced to contend with threats that are more than human.
