Plot
After the Nazis invaded Poland in 1939 and brought on World War II, Czech-born business owner Oskar Schindler arrives in Krakow intending to make a fortune off the war. Joining the Nazi party out of convenience, he staffed his factory with Jewish workers primarily for business reasons as the Jewish people were paid nothing for their labor. However, when the SS started murdering the people in the Krakow ghetto, Schindler arranged to have his workers protected to keep his factory in operation. His factory became a refuge to 1100 Jews with this action, saving them from being murdered at Auschwitz concentration and extermination camp. By doing so, Schindler soon realized that he had saved innocent lives.
