In the exotic and untamed jungles of China, 'Tiger' Haynes, a respected trapper of wild animals for zoos and circuses, shares an idyllic existence with his enchanting daughter, Toyo. Their tranquil life is stirred when Toyo falls head over heels in love with Bobby Bailey, a charming young man who happens to be the son of a wealthy circus owner Tiger frequently interacts with. Initially dubious of Bobby's intentions, Tiger soon warms up to his daughter's suitor, taken in by his genuine affection for Toyo.
